Description
The U-tube heat exchanger is a type of shell-and-tube heat exchanger. Its tubes are bent in a U shape, with both ends fixed on the same tube sheet, while the other end can expand and contract freely. This structure makes it particularly suitable for some special working conditions, such as in processes that require a stable temperature range or where there are relatively large changes in fluid pressure.

Structure
- Shell and head: Appropriate materials can be selected according to different process requirements and medium characteristics.
- U-type tubes: Both ends are fixed on same tube sheet, and the other side which is bent in a U shape can expand and contract freely.
- Tube sheet: Where the tube ends are fixed by expansion joint or welding and are separated from the shell.
- Inlet and outlet nozzles: Welded to the shell or the head to enable fluids to enter and exit smoothly.
- Baffle plate: Enhance the heat exchange effect.
