Description
With physical filtration or chemical adsorption, filter towers are used to achieve the purpose of purifying gas or liquid by removing impurities, particles, harmful substances, etc. It has a very wide range of applications in the chemical industry, such as the separation of chemical raw materials and products, petroleum refining, the extraction and purification of pharmaceutical intermediates, the extraction of food additives, the production of pure water, the separation of coal gas, and the treatment of waste gas or wastewater.
Structure
- Tower body: There are filtration layers or adsorption layers set inside, which possess certain strength and corrosion resistance.
- Filter media: Is the core part of the filter tower, which directly affects the filtering effect.
- Inlet and outlet pipelines: Used for the inflow and outflow of media. Instruments such as valves, flow meters and pressure gauges are installed on them to control and monitor the flow rate and pressure of the media.
- Backwashing system: When the resistance of the filter media increases to a certain extent, starting the backwashing system can clean and regenerate the filter media so as to restore its filtering performance.
