In mid-October, at the commission of the State Administration for Market Regulation, a team of four experts from the China Chemical Equipment Association came to Weihai Chemical Machinery (Weihai CM) for on-site appraisal and review regarding the renewal of pressure vessel design certification and the addition of analysis design qualifications. The company successfully passed the design qualification review and, on this basis, has additionally obtained the Analysis Design (SAD) qualification.
During the review period, the appraisal team comprehensively evaluated Weihai CM's resource conditions, software and hardware facilities, quality system operation, archive management, and design document management. They also administered a theoretical examination to the professional design personnel for pressure vessels and organized on-site defense assessments.
After the review, the expert group fully affirmed Weihai Chemical Machinery's design capabilities for pressure vessels, management systems, and quality assurance systems. They concluded that Weihai Chemical Machinery meets the conditions for the renewal and addition of qualifications, satisfying the relevant requirements for the continuation of qualifications. As a result, the company has successfully renewed its pressure vessel rule-based design qualification and added the Analysis Design (SAD) qualification.
