On April 22, 2025, the 600,000 - ton - per - year ABS plant of Shandong Yulong Petrochemical, with the process package provided by Zhejiang Zhiying Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang Zhiying"), a subsidiary of Zhejiang Ruizhi Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ruizhi Group"), and the EPCC general contracting of Shanghai Zhiying Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Zhiying"), successfully started up the full - process in one go. It achieved the perfect linkage of five major units, namely PBL polymerization, HRG polymerization, coagulation and dehydration, SAN polymerization, and blending and extrusion. In just two weeks, it completed the process from SAN polymerization feeding to the production of qualified ABS products by blending and extrusion.

The successful commissioning of the 600,000 - ton - per - year ABS unit of Shandong Yulong Petrochemical not only demonstrates that Weihai Chemical Machinery's technical capabilities in the field of high - end polymerization equipment have been validated by the market, but also showcases China's comprehensive breakthrough in high - end equipment manufacturing for new materials. Underpinning this success story is the deep integration of domestic - developed processes and equipment, marking an important stride in the industrial upgrading of Made - in - China and high - end manufacturing.

The successful application of Weihai Chemical Machinery's ABS reactor this time will further promote the localization process of high-end polymer equipment in China. In addition, the company has successfully provided key polymerization equipment for other high-end polymers such as POE, PC, PMMA, and special nylon on multiple occasions. In the future, with the advancement of process optimization and the large-scale development of equipment (such as million-ton reactors), Made in China is expected to occupy a more important position in the global high-end chemical equipment market.
